Do you believe as the bible says your faith could make you well? We will find out how does the bible represents faith as a substantial factor for wellness.

May you open your bible to read Hebrews 11:1-2 which conveys, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report."

There was a precise definition of faith expressed as in two elements: Substance and Evidence. Faith has been an important ingredient for transpiring the things we hope for. It embodies the occurrence of things we are having faith in. Plus, faith is proof of what seems invisible. It gives a transcending effect to see impossibilities as opportunities.

With all, nothing could be visibly possible without faith. Things hoped for and are unseen without faith is nothing. You have nothing to expect from God because He is looking for if we have faith in the things we are expecting for.

The Substance to Your Faith

The word of God is the most important substance we have to add to our faith. His words are powerful and beneficial. And by hearing it, the faith begins to restore. Whereas, many who believe in His words see great work of miracles in their lives. A cup of His words is a good seasoning to our faith, so improve it more by hearing, reading, attending services and fellowship, and being involved in discipleship. Don't let the day pass by without being filled by His words!

Another substance of our faith is the foundation which is Jesus Christ. From the beginning, we are knowledgeable that Jesus Christ was laid as the foundation of our faith. However, though many are proclaiming the gospel, the exaltation becomes a typical thing. It goes to the leaders and their denominations which way tricky. For Jesus, Himself is the foundation that should be uplifted as 1 Corinthians declared, "No one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ."

Be careful about who you are with. Yes, you are hearing the word of God, but you must weigh out the truth from deceptions. When it seems like the honor and praise were deprived of Jesus, and goes to anybody else in the crowd, think of a way out because you're on a wrong track! It is always and will forever be about Jesus!

The Evidence to Your Faith

Have you ever assess yourself from the time you accepted Jesus Christ to this time you already have faith in Him? Did your life change? Your mind renewed? Or your heart transformed?

It is important to evaluate ourselves if there's any evidence of our faith. Many are claiming, "I have faith in God" yet the way of life is the same worst like before. 2 Peter 1:5-7 admonishes us the character we must obtain along with our faith including goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love.

Such has to manifest in our Christianity. We have to let God see evidence that our faith helps us grow in His image.

Put Your Faith in Action

Today, we are busy with many things. Most of the time we neglect the very significant factor in our lives, our faith. The body works, but the faith remains stagnant. That is inaccurate! Just us our body needs exercise to have a normal circulation of blood so is our faith has to be put into action. Why? Because James 2:17 denoted that faith without action is dead. And if the faith died, we go to the fact about expecting nothing!

Do you remember the story about the sick woman Jesus healed? Browse and read Mark 5:25-34. The woman had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. Her condition is gotten worst even under medical cure. But you will see here the three amazing things she had done to be healed. She heard about Jesus, she made a decision, and then she confessed.

The miracle started after she heard about Jesus. In the large crowd, she took the way to get behind Him. Maybe you're thinking about how she did so. But she disregards what might come along her way just to reach Jesus. Do you see it? It was started by hearing about the healer. His presence in the Synagogue becomes the roaring news for the woman.

Afterward, the best decision she made came down-the-line when she said, "If only I just touch His clothes, I will be healed." And then she has gone out of suffering.

Here's the catch. Our faith produces miracles. The woman's faith made her well. And that's not the end line, because, in the lather part of the passage, you'll see there the confession she made before Jesus. She had a good testimony as an evident cause of faith mentioned in Hebrews 11:2.

Our faith plays important role in our Christianity. This is our unseen connection with God, which can convert into a testimony. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him(Hebrews 11:6). Do you want a wholesome life? Then faith is required. The question is, do you have faith?

If yes you have, work it out. We suggest to you exercising the things that would help you grow in faith such as hearing His words, living according to His will, and reflecting the testimony He had made for you to profess.

Now, if you have no faith in God at all, ask Him to store you up a kind of faith just like a sick woman had. You can start by hearing His words because just as said, that's the beginning of faith. The life-changing effect will follow just keep holding unto God. As you go through, stand, and testify His works on your life.

With joy and peace, we thank God for having your time with us. May God bless us all.
