Trials are always present. Its purpose is to test our capabilities that most of the time, bring us thoughts of giving up, but in the end, if we look further on it is the victory.

Let's begin with the passage in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that states, "No temptation have overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
Whatever trials we are having right now are a milestone for those children of God in the past who were been there. That is why we can't ask God by saying, "Why me?" because He wanted to use us for His glory once we came to victory. Its purpose is to strengthen us and may we see and prove the work of God in our lives.
Then how can we overcome trials? Here are some of the things we MUST do for, in time of trials, we can always make it.
1. Attend to God's word
If you are a busy person, you might have to attend lots of meetings. And in a corporate meeting, you must not come late, but ready and will come ahead. You cannot miss that to the point you disregard less important appointments.
The same with God, we must prioritize His words. We have to meet what God is meant for in His words. We must have to prepare ourselves for this, for Matthew 4:4 says, no man can live by the bread alone, but to the word that comes from God. Noted that we can't rely on the material things alone on earth to live, because the word of God gives life.
We have to long for it, thirsty to know what He is telling us to do. Just like a baby who is in thirst for milk in 1 Peter 2:2, we must also thirst for God's word. We have to seek Him by putting Him FIRST in our priority lists. As the very known verse says, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness so that all these things will be added unto you." It's a matter of priority. Who's on your top list? God and His word should be on that thing.
2. Hear God's word
Have you experienced going home from school or from a seminar without learning anything? That's because you are not listening to the speaker. See here the importance of listening. We have to lend our ears to what God is telling us so that we can understand His will.
Romans 10:17 says, "Faith comes from hearing." Through our listening our faith grows like a seed planted and after time sprouts. This is an important aspect of our Christian life because it strengthens our faith for the things we want to accomplish through the will of God just like healing.
The centurion had an example of faith in his desire to heal his servant in Matthew 8:13. God was amazed at his faith because he said, "Just say the word, and my servant will be healed." Another, in Matthew 9:28-29, a blind man came before Jesus, and He said to the man, "Do you believe that I can do this?" The man just believes and said to Jesus in confidence, "Yes, Lord!"
For they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body (Proverbs 4:22).
3. Keep God's word in your heart
David says in Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." When God's word pieced in heart, it helps us to prevail from the work of evil. It is necessary nowadays because, at every single moment, sin is present. Whereas God desires us to be strong and resilient.
We can hold these things to endure the trials we are facing right now, particularly the cause of the pandemic. You might be under the pressure of testings and trials, thinking to give up, and maybe complaining why in the thousands of people you are the one called to be on that situation, but let us remind you that God is purposively putting you into something you can bear. He does not suppose to give you trials you can't endure for the God we have is an all-knowing God and is the same today, yesterday, and forever.
Brothers and sisters, look unto God. Stay connected with Him and be guided by His words so that you can cope up with every trouble that comes across. Thank you for having your time with us. We bless you in Jesus' Name. Have a great day ahead!
