The Lord Shall Direct Our Path

Every person has a different path to take. There are different directions and ways to go. Many, for instance, are either sure or unsure of a chosen path that sometimes leads to a regretful decision.

To God, He can direct us into a certain path. He is serious about this matter. He intends to fix every life, and you are one of those people the Lord wanted to guide. It will just take a 'wholehearted trust'.

Just like in the lives of the known characters in the bible such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, and David, they trust in the Lord with all their heart, and in return, the Lord bless them greatly. Even to Job, he saw how the Lord moved in his life. May you read Job 13:15 wherein he said in confidence that even he was deprived of life, He will keep his trust to God.

These must be an inspiration to us. That upon trusting the Lord, we can testify His works in our lives. May you open your bible in the book of Proverbs 3:5-6 saying, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Let's begin to understand how the Lord can direct our path.

1. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Many people are undecided to put themselves in a situation that deals with either life or death. That is why trusting the Lord requires wholehearted dependency and submission because it can drive out worry and doubt. To trust the Lord does not come from the uttered words of our mouth, but the will of our heart. It is not a compulsory mission to do, however, a requirement for the Lord to direct our path. For the Lord to move freely in our lives, we must welcome His ways willfully.

2. Lean not on your understanding. Our thoughts are limited though we had our highest degree, even we study in a prestigious school or university. In this unpredictable world, we cannot say nor define what is wrong and what is right. But to God, He can give us the wisdom to go on the right path and decision we must take. He is the answer to all our uncertainties, so we should not rely on our perception, but more of God's.

3. In all our ways, acknowledge Him. It is essential to comply with God. It shows recognition to His presence and guidance. Every step of the way, He is before us, leading us in the right direction that sometimes we neglect to follow Him. That's when we meet a dead end. But with good obedience and consultation to Him, we can create the right decisions.

Maybe the world feeds us options to take, tricky zones, and dead ends, but upon trusting the Lord, no more doubts and fear of what comes may because He is the right one should navigate us in a straightway.
